CHOICES! Career & Education Expo Objectives

“CHOICES! Career & Education Expo” is presented with the following objectives:

To create a national forum which provides the most varied, relevant, and up-to-date information covering a wide cross-section in continuing education, career and job guidance
To increase awareness of the need for a more educated workforce and its direct link to surviving in an ever-changing, competitive, global environment
To increase the awareness of existing educational and training opportunities, locally, in the Caribbean and outside of the region
To bring to participants a new vision on how to determine the direction most suited to their talents and qualifications and the needs of today’s job market
To assist in the understanding of today’s job market and how to acquire the skills and qualifications required to enter, progress and succeed in that marketplace
To promote CHOICES Magazine as registering the growth, development, value and importance of continuing and further education to all
To assist in meeting the specific training needs of the public and private sectors throughout Jamaica.
